It seems as if whenever I am on the freeway, my steering wheel will slighty shake. Is it my tires or do I need an alignment? I am assuming these may be the problem. If there are other possibilities please let me know. Thanks!

Does the shaking happen in basic terms at specific speeds? maximum possibly reason is a wheel out of stability in step with hazard brought about by utilising a stability weight coming off. Feeling the shaking in the brakes could be usual if it somewhat is the case. There might desire to be many different reasons yet it somewhat is the least complicated to diagnose, in basic terms have the wheels rebalanced and notice what happens.

Alignment or worn suspension parts. Tires could be out of round or worn shocks or struts.

Take it to an alignment shop and let them check out the suspension on it.

Do this before you wear out more parts by the shaking.

hi pls check ur tyres if there is uneven wear than ur wheel alignment is disturbed. alignment should b done at every 10,000 kms.and also check ur steering rod bushings.and stabiliser rod bushing.this only might b the reason.

Poster please state make , model , year and mileage when asking any auto related question .

It helps because some makes and models have prone or known trouble areas , and im just tired of seeing every question without out a lot of information , but yeah this question can be guessed , so he can replace every single suspension and steering part in his front end
