i have a dell dimension E521 running win xp and i want to put my printer in another room to save space what sort of solutions can you provide to make this possible and could you please explain:-)
all help will be gratly appreciated,

Umm, you can't make the printer itself wireless. At least not yet, however you can hook the printer to a wireless router, talk to the router wirelessly, and print the documents. Since the printer is not network ready, you need to make sure you get a router that can accept USB connections.

Also, you DO NOT need to set up a print server. If the wireless rounter does its job, the configuration of the router, and the printer port is establish correctly, the setup should work fine. Yet, just curious, are you sure you gave the right printer name? The printer does seem all that big (I have a HP color laser that I hook up with a wireless router has a demension of a 2-foot-sided cube), do you really need to go through all these? To be practical, I would set up a shelf on the desk that would hold the printer and call it a day.

you have to buy a wireless router and set up a print sever! i would recommend net-gear! and also someone who is good with computers to assist you if you get a router! it can be a very long and irritating process to set up! hope i could help!
