He was actually waived by the Spurs (his last team) nad stuck around for a while looking to get signed this past season, but no one bit so he declared retirement.

I remember him playing for the Spurs during the '05-'06 season. He was totally useless. Nothing left in the tank. After that season, anybody would have been crazy to pick him up.
