The most popular attractions are the Space Needle (pretty much the Seattle icon), Pike Place Market (the other icon, image of fishmonger throwing a fish), and Safeco Field (sure, Seahawk Stadium, too, but it's not time).
The Space Needle is definitely worth checking out although there's always naysayers who disagree. It's a great photo experience, the views are usually excellent, even in inclement weather, and you can say that you did later on! The dining is nowadays a great experience, albeit a bit pricy.
Pike Place Market is also great to go and check out! Shopping is plentiful and there's all sorts of great little shops to browse around and plenty of places to grab all sorts of different things to eat! Check out the original Starbucks right across the brick street from the main market (well, if it means anything to you)!
Safeco Field is an amazing field to catch a baseball game in if you are interested in baseball and the Mariners are playing pretty well! Great seats all around and a fun experience if there's a game playing while you're here!
The EMP, Experience Music Project, is Paul Allen's piece of work, the music museum located right next to the Space Needle. You can't miss it. It's the oddly shaped garish blob of twisted metal right next to it. I'm very interested in music and I've got to say that I was a bit let down inside, so I have a hard time really recommending it, but it's there and it's a music museum.
Down on the water a short walk from Pike Place Market is an excellent place to hang out to catch great views of Puget Sound and to catch ferries all around. They are great rides even if you don't have any intentions of going to Bremerton or whatever ferry you get on. It's fun to just ride there and back, take photos and enjoy the water!
The Ride the Ducks is a fun tour that takes you through Seattle and also drives into the water (amphibious vehicles)and is a fun experience if you let yourself go and just don't take it too seriously! If you do, you'll just feel corny and dumb and won't really enjoy it as much.
If you want to do some shopping downtown, Pacific Place has a lot of options as well as Westlake Center. There's also retailers such as Macy's, Nordstrom, and others to peruse the wares of!

Monuments and memorials, modern neighbourhoods, true local flavour it's this that Washington, DC is; a location unlike any; the same as this page hotelbye . Washington it's your home abroad with free museums and America's front yard. Washington is acknowledged around the world as a symbol of the United States. Here, the area you cannot skip could be the Capitol. Capitol could be the seat of the House of Representatives and the Senate. The enormous dome, based on the dome of St. Peter's in Rome, stands out above all different Washington buildings. Like Washington itself, the creating has developed over time considering that the central part was built between 1793 and 1812. The last addition, in 1958-62, increased the main façade where presidents get the oath. On one other area, a marble terrace offers beautiful views within the mall and the city. The interior is resplendent with frescoes, reliefs, and paintings, especially the rotunda under the great cast-iron dome with a threshold painting by Constantino Brumidi and big paintings of scenes from American record on the walls.

Pike Place Market - sort of a farmers market on steroids
Seattle Center - where the space needle is
Take a tour at the Boeing airplane assembly plant in Everett, WA (just north of Seattle) - it's really pretty cool to see.
