The air will blow back in and take with it the smoke so that both you and the house will stink.

No,cause no matter how hard you blow that smoke out the window a little will come back in. And it might not smell like it to the person who is smoking but if someone comes in that doesn't smoke they can tell someone has been smoking.

I guess, but why not go right outside like both rules in Scotland and England have now. I think if Smoking ina public place such as a bar or pub, it should regulate to houses aswell if there is children about.

But answering your question, maybe if you haven't got your full attention and concentration on taking a puff and blowing it straight out the window. But I guess you'd collect the smoke in your clothing so some of the smell is coming back in with you.

I don't smoke and I have never allowed smoking in my house. My inlaws used to go into my bathroom, shut the door, open the window and smoke out of it.

Do you know how I know this? I could smell it... BUT I am a non-smoker. If you are doing this around smokers, chances are they will not notice. If you are pulling one over on a non-smoker, you may be in trouble.

Some of the smoke will come back in the house. The best thing would be to not smoke. It's bad for you. I know, I'm a smoker and still haven't quit. I go out on the patio and smoke and the smoke stays on me enough that my husband can smell it on me when I walk back in the house.

Nope. I do not smoke and one evening my son tried to do that. I was in my bedroom with the door closed, and 1/2 asleep. I woke up, and could smell the smoke immediately. I walked into the living room and asked "who has been smoking in here".. needless to say, all 3 boys had a stunned look on their face, and responded... "how in the world did you know!"

Although I have a friend that smokes, but does it outside, but on the occasion when it is raining, she stands at her stove, with the hood fan running and blows the smoke into the vent... she swears it keeps the smell out of the kitchen...

ANYWAY.. you shouldn't smoke, its bad for you! (I'm a mom.. I had to put that in there!).

i don't smoke but no it will not stay outside it can blow back into the house. also remember that clothing and hair absorbs the smoke and can rub off of you and onto furniture so while yo umay not see or smell smoke inside it could still get the smell from other things brought inside such as clothing.

No.

Even if I smoke outside the room, it still smells bad inside.

Nope. The smoke will come back in and the smoke has tar particles in it that will settle on everything and leave a dark residue. My foster brother did that years ago and got caught because my mom is allergic to the smoke and she smelled it.

if the smoke comes back in through the window?

As in air flow through the open window inside the home or the wind blowing it back in. Cigarettes small strongly so chances are you will smell it in the home. Especially as you will stink of it also.

What do you think?
