The war on terror is not fake, just mismanaged and mis directed. And I understand what he means by Ideology, Terrosim is bread by an ideology. Nazism was an ideology kinda, in the same way the Dixiecrats were an ideology (platform was the retention of slavery) (Dixiecrats later became the Republican Part)but it was supported by the German govenrment so it had a clear infrastructure to target and destroy. Al-Qaeda doesn't have that type of infrastructure they are underground and exist appart from established government (in the shadows if you will). In order to effectively combat this tit akes, intel, relationships with goveernments of the countries where they exist that allow us access and the ability to freeze bank accunts int hose countries to withhold funding. Attacking Iraq, did not casue a decline in terrroism, in fact it has increased the probability. Saddam's Iraq was as ecular state, in oppostition to Iran's theocracy and the Ideology of Al-Qaeda, in other words, Saddams culture in iraq did not breed terrorism, he was a tyrrant and didn't stand for any groups to challenge his supreme authority. The 182 Shiite that he killed in 1982 and was hung for, were terrorist who plotted to overthrow his government, and they were killed with Chemical weapons that we made for Saddam and administerd with American made hellicopters. And what we have done is help create a government more similar to Iran's government and it has become a breeding ground for terrorism

no one believes the threat of terrorism is fake but terrorism is a tactic and you can't wage conventional warfare on guerrilla war tactics. and bombing the crap out of a Muslim country that has nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks was the stupidest thing the USA could have done. not only is it incredibly expensive in blood and treasure but all it's done is give credence to radical Muslim zealot cause. American interests would have been better served had our leadership gone after the true perpetrators of the 9/11 crime and spent our tax dollars making us safer here at home. of course, there's the Iraqi oil reserves to consider. making us more secure at home would not have served the interests of Big Oil and the Military Industrial Complex as much as the war on Iraq.

There is no doubt that certain militant groups in the world mean the U.S. and other developed nations harm. The problem is that the POTUC and certain special interest groups along with intelligence agencies in certain allied countries manufactured a war in the Middle East. They did this because they felt the need to establish control over certain US interests and establish a strong presence in the area.

The so-called "war on terror" should be occurring in Afghanistan and perhaps Pakistan. It should not be the practice of this great nation to create conflict in other sovereign nations. Do not make the mistake of confusing the hunt for Bin Laden with the war we created in Iraq.

The Pakistan Safe Haven.

Pakistan - keeps Bin Laden safe.
- has terrorist training camps
- is were the next attacks are now being planed
- has the ability to give terrorists atomic weapons

but, bush does nothing about it.

so.. now you say there is a new video "wait for the big surprise" that would have been made in Pakistan and bush still won't do anything about it. and you wonder why people think bush's war on terror is fake ?

All roads in the war on terror lead to Pakistan.
Our enemies have a safe haven in this country And support.
the war on terror won't be truly real until we deal with that fact.

I don't think anyone believes the war on terror is a fake. Some just do not believe in the extreme steps that are taken to fight it. People like you just need to stop trying to justify the war in Iraq by lumping it with the war on terror. Some people just do not believe we are accomplishing much against terrorists strikes here, by being in Iraq, or that is the reason for being there. We are allowed to believe whatever we want.

The War on Terror is more of a cover for banks and war profiteers to engage in perpetual war. The US arms both sides. It's all about money, power, and control. I don't deny the US has real enemies that really want us dead and I believe the military is doing the best they can to hunt the bad guys God bless our troops, but I don't trust Bush and the ties the family has to the bin Ladens, the al Sauds. Isn't it weird that Prescott Bush worked at Union Bank in NY laundering money for Nazis?

"Thats a bunch of bull outcrop, Nazism was a ideology and we defeated it, did we not?"

No, you didn't. There are still Neo-Nazis around. True, most of them are a joke and probably would have been among the first off to the gas chambers, but nevertheless, they have murdered people in the past. That's why David Lane was serving a 190 year sentence before he croaked back in May.

so every time al queda releases a 5 year old video we must get into our bomb shelters?

Some people dont live under this constant fear of attack because we realize if they realy absolutely wanted to they would...look at the borders and port security...do they even exist? Im more worried about these domestic terrorists like the Armageddon believers and these fanatical Christians and the abortion clinic bombers then al queda

actually the Nazi socialistic idea is very alive today...maybe you can trickle over to the immigration section sometimes and look some peoples responses...and I presume you never heard of the KKK or NAAWP

It's not fake but the Administration has made it more than it is to get its way. OK some Muslims want to bomb us. If we send a threat to all nations harboring terrorist. That if any suicide bomber is traced back to their country we will bomb them out of existence.
