Here's my breakdown of the consoles that are out there: Nintendo DS / 3DS Great for on-the-go gaming. You can open up your DS while you're waiting in the car, which is nice. This is good for games like Animal Crossing (a new one is coming out soon) and things like Pokemon. I'd consider DS casual gaming. Playstation The PS4 is coming out. I'm not sure when, but probably sometime soon. Playstation is a good console because it has good graphics and free multiplayer/online capabilities, whereas Xbox requires you to pay a membership fee. Xbox The xbox 360 has better graphics than the Playstation, but you have to pay for online capabilities such as multiplayer, apps, Netflix, etc. I have an Xbox 360 and I like it a lot. There are tons of games you can play, and the graphics are very nice. The Xbox One is coming out soon, but it will probably be wicked expensive. PC Gaming PC gaming is probably the best form of gaming, in my opinion. PC's are capable of the best graphics and allow for almost endless gaming possibilities because of a computer's ability to use mods in games (mods basically modify a game to change or add features that the game doesn't normally allow). The thing about PC gaming is that it is expensive. While it doesn't cost extra for multiplayer and all that, you would need a *good* PC to really enjoy the best of PC gaming, and that requires a large initial investment in a good computer and hardware such as graphics cards, ram, etc. You'd save a ton of money if you know how to take care of computers and install hardware yourself, but even so, it's quite a bit of money. Since you are just starting to get back into gaming, I would not recommend going down the path of PC gaming just yet, because the investment might not be worth it. All in all, it depends on what you want. I'd recommend a Xbox 360. I use mine a lot. There are a lot of different games you can play on a Xbox 360. Multiplayer and other online capabilities do cost money, but I think it is worth it for the Xbox's edge on graphics. Good luck to you!

Haven't heard of it, but it sounds like something Spencer's would carry. There's a Spencer's in any mall.
