An imprinted mark of a hot plate is on my teak dining room table. How can this be removed?

Depends on a few things....
But may as well cut to the chase...
Being a flat surface it may be easiest to strip & refinish esp if the wood has been charred.
Teak is tough & can be sanded ( hate to say it) to like new .
Just don't dig a hole in the burned area & feather it out if necessary.
Stain if you absolutely must, otherwise I will find your house & say rude things to you.
A marine varnish is a good choice, it is tough & will show off the grain well.
It is also safe for use around food, check can anyway.
Just a personal opinion, but putting polyurethane on teak is a criminal act , but,use it if you have to.

Your only option is sanding, but if the burn penetrates anywhere beyone 1/16 inch even that's a problem. You could try completely refinishing the table with a darker stain to mask the burn.

If the mark is not charred, use fine steel wool (from a hardware store, not soap pad) to remove the marks and then reseal the surface to match the rest of the table.

i like to apply a belt sander or chainsaw. positioned on protection goggles and objective the chosen potential gadget on the white spots. we could face it guy, in the adventure that your spouse comes living house and sees that stuff, this is not proper in case you have burns on your table or if the subject's sawed in a million/2. you're nonetheless sleepin' on the settee bud.
