THE GRASS ROOTS: Let's Live for Today

The Grass Roots had a series of major hits -- most notably "Let's Live for Today," "Midnight Confessions," "Temptation Eyes," and "Two Divided by Love" -- that help define the essence of the era's best AM radio.

"... we all need to die to be sin free as per Romans 6:7......." - If this were true, the Yeshua died in vain, because - once we all die - we "are free from sin", right? Wrong. Sin is the error Man took after Adam's transgression. Once the body is burned, there exist no error. Deleted. That does not mean WE DESERVE ANYTHING, and the fact is, as Yeshua said, we "are slaves good for nothing" that deserve to die, because the ONLY thing that the Law brings in, is death. After Yeshua's resurrection (The First one), many were 'changed' in an instant at their death, and that 'corruptible' was transformed into incorruptible. They are now in an abode with Him in the House of His Father "where there exist many Mansions" and they will come with Him "as in a cloud" when He returns with His saints. Those who He does not recognize as "His sheep" may have to wait until the Resurrection at the end of the 1000 years, where there will be - for some - a Resurrection of Life, and for others a Resurrection of Judgment. The realm of those loyal to Him is the Universe, the Planets ("the stones of fire" originally given to the Spiritual creatures that later on rebelled against God). Things will return to the conditions existent at the very beginning, again, and He will Reign as a King again. btw, you do not need to be a JW to read the Scriptures and let someone tell you what they mean. It's there for all, be free. Read. Learn, The Truth shall make you free.

"Let's Live For Today" - by the Grass Roots. Released in 1967 with Rob Grill as the lead singer.

My personal favorite song of theirs was "Midnight Confessions".

Yes, it's the Grass Roots -- think it was a 60s song, actually. Title is "Let's Live For Today." I saw them in concert with Gary Puckett once, hence the confusion. :)
