I'm from NY
Free, protected speech is my both my favorite thing and least favorite thing about America.
I don't think people are generally treated equally and it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the color of their skin...

I'm from oakland ca
my favorite thing about america is the Music. The Doors, Lou Reed, Nirvana, Bob Dylan, Nine Inch Nails, Aus Rotten, Great Music.
Least favorite thing is the government. Its horrible, people get paid nothing to do everything. We are oppressed and live in a police state slave wage system while the enviiornment is being destroyed and the ozone layer is melting away.
There is a problem with racism in america, not only with whites on blacks but also blacks on whites. Gangster rap only propagates this kind of thinking. It is an insult to all real intellegent black people. Blacks and whites are only equal in the fact that they are both equally oppressed by the right wing fanatics.

Originally from the Midwest, but I've lived in the South over 20 years.

The differences in the people and the places they come from.

That we seem to fail to realize we need to be guardians of our resources and environment. Some people do, but I think we miss the boat in general.

I believe we are equal under the law. I know it varies depending on where you live as to the attitudes of the society at large. I hope it's improved and continues to improve. I'd like us to get to the point where we are "Americans" first, and all the rest is just a lovely extra.

I have lived in 9 different states but currently reside right in the center of it all, St. Louis, MO

My favorite part is the opportunity for business here

My least favorite part is the government involment in everything I do.

As far as equality, it should be that way but I don't see it happening. There are still to many all black areas and to many all white areas.

New Mexico.

The many freedoms we enjoy, that other countries don't have.

The people who live here and don't appreciate it, but just complain about everything that is wrong, when really, we've got it good.

I think everyone has the chance to be equal here. Each race has there own different advantages, but we all need to just quit worrying so much about race, and just be Americans. That way everyone can earn what they deserve, and be there own person, without having to worry about pride or bigotry.

i am not from America, but i love this country and would like to visit it someday. I see this country as a one big Holiday with many interesting and nice things.
Fav- smile, fab, shops, fashion, people of different races and cultures
Least- no normal food- lots of junk food
Yes I think they(black&white) are now. But i think they should more communicate and put no boarders between themselves(like fistricts of 'black' and districts of 'white') They should mix together and create families. because i have never seen a not-beautiful mulat

Born in the South, reared in the Northeast, lived in SoCal and the Midwest and now I'm in New England.

My favorite thing about the country is the diversity.

My least favorite thing is the blatant discrimination and ignorance that I see every single day.

My least favorite thing would support my view that not everyone is treated equally in this country.

I'm from the Northeast.
I like the fact that everyone is free.
I hate the fact that Bush doesn't give a crap about the environment.
Black people and white people ARE equal, but sadly they're not treated like it.
