This is for who read it!!!! I was disappointed. I thought there would be more actions, more twists and more love story between Harry and Ginny and Ron and Hermione. The plot was a bit boring and I would have liked a bit more about Bill and his Licanthropy. Plus the American version is 120 pages more than the UK version. I mean that is lots of pages more and lots of more story and probably a bit more about Bill?
What do you think?

Sorry maybe I didn't mean boring: I did like it, but not as much as the others. And Skullian what do you mean by different set?

I liked the book, but I wish JKR had done a bit more justice in killing many important characters like MadEye Moody, Snape, Lupin and even Voldemort with a bit more dignity. And I didn't like the death of Fred, Dobby and Hedwig at all. Also, nothing is mentioned about the after life of the Weasleys, the Dursleys, Luna, Cho Chang, professor McGonagall and the other Hogwarts staff, Kreacher and even Harry, Ron and Hermione!! I was also hoping Fawkes would make a comeback into the story. The British edition could easily have been a 1000 pages and the American over 1400 pages......

The American edition is bigger because it has sketches, more spacious writing and all....

The extra 120 pages in the American version is due to the American publishers using a bigger size writing. That's all. The exact same text appears in the British and U.S versions of the book.

I did like the book, but yes, I know what you mean. All that with Harry,Ron and Hermione hanging around in the woods camping. I understand it was needed for the story to develop but it was quite boring to read.

Lupin was always been one of my favourite characters, I'd have loved to see him helping Bill out a bit more with his 'furry little problem'. Yeah, he popped round to visit Bill and Fleur a couple of times but it wasn't what I was hoping for.

also, man, I wished we could have learned some more about Snape...I might be in denial but I still don't think he's dead.

I thought it was great. I wasn't too happy about the epilogue because it sounded a bit like a lot of fanfictions I've read before. I still loved it, though.
And the American version is longer because the font and page size is different, not because the story is different.

the extra pages are probably due to a larger type being set.

I liked the book.

by larger type set I mean the letters that have been used in the printing of the book might be larger than those in the UK version therefore they would need to use more pages than the UK version, the actual words would be identical, just slightly bigger!

Yeah i agree. I think it was good, but not as good as it could have been. a little disapointing perhaps. I think the end was drawn out a little too much. Some more action would have been better, but then again it is a kids book. I think if it wasn't a kids book she'd have killed of a lot more people.

I thought the book was great. It made me cry more than once.
The story was pretty exciting and full of twists and turns that I certainly didn't see coming. JK has got an amazing imagination and I heard quite recently that she is writing another 'younger' children's book but she will use a pseudonym. God knows what I'll do with my free time now!

i thought the book was overall g8 ,however the camping was a bit boring and could of been more interesting. i am glad ron got to be a little clever he is my favourite character, the ending should of been more dramatic instead of dumbledore trying to play god like in bruce all mighty and harry playing bruce.
there should of been more dark twists then it would of been better.

It's a great one. I never felt boring. I think the actions are good. Don't need more actions. I liked that it was less in love stores. The book was awesome!

i didn't think it was boring!
it answered a lot of questions! but not all of them unfortunately....
the American version only has 120 more pages because of the larger print.
