If you don't want to go to 24 Hour, I would try Fitness 19. My friend is a member at the one in Katy and she really likes it.

well if you live in old katy then you can go to the place at pekem park its free and they have a pool and some fitness equipment

Try the YMCA. I always got my best deals there. If not, wait for a special or go in, look at it leaving your name and number and wait for them to call you back. Fees are normally very negotialble.
