yes they will. they just aquired 2 more pitchers in the pen and the pen has been great lately. yesterday it went 6 innings and no runs. they could possibly end up less than 20 back.

What ever the number turns out to be, it won't be good. The Rays have a good core group of young players and if they can pick up a pitcher or two in the off season, things could get better for them. New ownership and a new ballpark in downtown Tampa would help also.

Honestly, I don't think so...they play the Red Sox 12 times still and are 1-5 against them so far...not to mention they play the Yankees 6 more times...they have a tough schedule ahead but anything can happen on any given day....still, I see them finishing about 32 games back.
