Read what came with your pill pack, or google it online, or talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
With MY pill pack, if I forget ONE pill, I take it as soon as I remember, then take the other one at the scheduled time.
If I would forget to take TWO pills, I'm to take 2 tablets for the next 2 days, then, continue with your regular schedule.
Also if I miss one or two, I need to use protection for one week.

That has happened to me and I just continue to take the pills and the period may continue for a few days. It should be light. This happened to me not to long ago and that is what I did. My doctor said if you miss three pills then you need to call. I had missed two days and on the third day took two and called and she said it was ok. Just make sure you use extra protection the next two weeks.

What you're going to have to do since you forgot two days, Do not double up, it will not help.. let your period run.. when you are done with your period, start the pill right away, but the next few times you have intercourse you'll have to use a condeom. There is some stuff at walmart, its called foam... its birth control for the woman.. What you do is inject it inside of your vagina. Then you'll be double protected. When i use it, i find it gives me a warm sensation, and makes me more in the mood. But i'd do that just to be on the safe side for at lease 2 weeks.

You period doesn't go away when you take the pill. The pill regulates your period and balances out your harmones. If you miss taking the pill, you shouldn't take two the next day, that doesn't help.
If you miss a day, then the next day just take ONE, and just make sure you keep track of it.
Make sure when you take the pill you take it around the same time.
If you miss a day, the next day take one, and keep on from there, never try and take two, because you're just taking in a second dose, it doesn't make up for the missed day.
Hope that helps!

Yes, keep taking it and follow through with your normal dosing schedule. They call that intermittent bleeding, that is the side effect of missing your pills. Take them the same hour everyday and you will avoid all these side effects all together. Ritualistically, when you start getting ready for bed every night, keep a glass of water and some hand cream on your nightstand to help you remember to take your pill before you go to bed. It never fails! After you take your pill ,rub some hand cream on your heels, feet and elbows so you can snuggle down for a nights sleep and wake up with soft skin. :)

That bleeding is called 'break through bleeding', and it's not your real period. It's just a response to the hormone drop.
The pamphlet that came with your pills has detailed instructions about what to do if you miss pills. Those instructions vary with the pill formulation, so read what they have to say. They will probably tell you to continue and finish the pack.

You need to start a new pack after this period. Since you are not good at remembering to take the pill you may want to ask your doc about a different form of birth control.
