have you ever been tempted to go behind the counter when you can't seem to find someone to wait on you?
I always wondered if someone would get there right away instead of waiting for the customer to give up in frustration and leave.

well I have occasionally started to shout "helloooo".
the best one is a a lot of people in a queue and one person at the till and someone doing paperwork and then ask them loudly if the can go on the till. And remind them that I pay their salary and sorry, you know, I don't mean to be in the way, but we are in a shop. And excuse me, Im a customer, am I disturbing you in doing your job or is your job serving customers? I can get so pissed off.
