My husband was gonna do this repair, he has until saturday to fix it. That means fill the gap which is like 11 inches long he has to fiberglass, bondo ,and then add primer, sand, paint, then attach back on the car. So is there any tips out there on the fiberglass and bondo ?????????? Seriously he hasn't ever touched the stuff so I need all the help he can get cause I seriously don't wanta have to yell at him for a big mistake

I wish him luck. Fiberglass repair is an art. Sure, anyone can make a junky looking patch job with a repair kit from the auto store but that is exactly what it will look like. Getting a used bumper from a salvage yard would be quicker, easier and look better.

I hope, I get to You on time........
the neutralizer for fiberglass is ACETONE.
is also used as cleaner,if Your husband feel the skin is burning He has to clean the skin with acetone ASAP.
(if fiberglass drys in the skin ,it make a ugly hole in it)
He has to wear safety glasses all time He is working with fiberglass.
the fiber glass repair is <
whatever defect MUST be rectified meanwhile the fiberglass is drying and still hot or warm (you may cut the excess with a cheap knife,it will be stil soft,)
apply the fiber galss with a cheap brush and make the cloth seat in it with a roller.
apply one thin layers at a time and let them dry.(one layer by one.) until You get the desired thick.
once the fiberglass is dry or cure it has to be cut with a <
after the backside work,remove the front tape,any endentation fiil it with bondo.

Put some duct tape on it. Duct tape comes in a variety of colors and you can get one that will match your paint.
