I once walked into the packed auditorium for an orientation lecture first day at college and was about 5 minutes late. I stood in the back for just a moment when suddenly the room started to spin and I was going down. When you pass out you dont just go straight down, you kind of spin and as I did that my head hit the back of a metal folding chair. The last thing I heard was a huge crash which was the chair falling over and the last thing I saw was all eyes on me. I woke up on the stretcher heading out to the ambulance. When I went back to school about a week later because I had a concussion from hitting the chair, I was famous on campus already and I was only on campus for an instant.

I was very shy in high school, and my school was college prep and I had to have a major and a minor. I found a way to work the system and was able to have 3 majors, but the only way was to have the 3rd major in English and have 3 English classes my senior year, one of which was Acting Seminar.

Our classroom was the schools huge auditorium, and our first script was a guy/girl pairing. Each pairing would practice in different corners until it was out turn to act for the teacher and get our grade. Our turn to act for our grade happened to be the last one of that particular day.

We acted for the teacher on the stage, but the teacher was on the stage and our backs were to the rest of the auditorium. Since we were the last of the day, the others in the class quit practicing and watched us... without us knowing it! When we were done, the other students started clapping... I didn't know they were watching and wanted to crawl into a hole. The teacher said how great we were, and thought it couldn't get worse when I went to Physics the next period. The Physics teacher then said that he had heard he had a great actor in his class... now I wanted to find a hole to crawl in for the second time that morning.

After this initial embarrassment, I learned to be not so shy and got the lead part in a play we performed for other schools.

When I was in 7th grade, at a party I made fun of a unattractive little girl and hurt her feelings and 48 years later I still feel very badly about what I did. I wish there was some way to atone for my unkindness but I have been away from that area so long that it is impossible. I did it because some other guys were doing it and I wanted to be accepted by them but instead made an *** of myself and hurt someone who did not deserve it. Perhaps my punishment has been to remember and feel bad for 48 years. I just hope she went from ugly duckling to beautiful swan and forgot the incident.

I have to narrow it down to one thing? Geez, talk about limitations.

Being a participant in the Ventura Bears "Survivor Game" at the Faultline and taking my shirt off in front of 50+ men.
