What triggers a memory for you? Is there a certain artist, song or album that motivates to finish work, working out, bring you out of a funk, feel like you can take on the world? Are there any that put you to sleep?

Whenever I hear Michael by Franz Ferdinand I dance around and laugh because I used to sing it to this guy named Michael who liked me and was a devout Mormon, and lets just say the lyrics aren't really... holy. So that song always puts me in a good mood. When I work out I like to listen to Kasabian. And I typically go to sleep listening to Loreena McKennitt, or Mogwai.

Hon, every genre of music changes my mood. I try to get ahead of it though and feel the way I want to feel. I even have some bagpipe stuff that is Gawd-Awful!! Choose your own music to fit the mood you desire. Music is magic. I am on a saxophone trip right now though.

take for instance I haven't listened to Coldplay's A Rush of Blood to the Head for about 2 years b/c of a bad break up with my first girlfriend. So for me its the end of the world listening to it.

The lyrics, and the artists, but mostly the lyrics cuz behind evry lyric its like a strory....some are obvious and some arent but theres a story.....
