Hover over the link and see what the URL is. If it is anything other than www.att.com it is a scam. Never enter your ID or password on any screen that you reached from a questionable link. Go to the site directly.

ATT would never send you an email to change something as important as this. They would notify you by mail. Someone is doing a scam is phishing for personal information so don't do anything.

This is DEFFINITLY NOT REAL. This is "phishing".

It will take you to a rather legit looking website. Click on the link if you are curious. The information it will ask for is rediculous. ANY email asking you to verify any security info is fake.

Haven't seen this. Maybe it's a local thing. AT&T is my cell service provider and I don't get any email from them.

If you want to know if it's real, go to the AT&T Yahoo! help site. Is AT&T your ISP (Internet Service Provider)? If they are, it's probably real.
