I'll name some songs, but you're a Dipset fan so I'm not sure if you'll like good Hip Hop when you hear it.

Illmatic:
Life's A *****
The World Is Yours
It Ain't Hard To Tell

It Was Written:
The Message
Street Dreams
If I Ruled The World

I Am:
Hate Me Now
Big Things
Nas Is Like

Nastradamus:
Nastradamus
New World
Life We Choose

Stillmatic:
2nd Childhood
One Mic
Ether

The Lost Tapes:
Purple
Nothing Lasts Forever
My Way

God's Son:
Last Real Ni66a Alive
Thug's Mansion
Book of Rhymes

Street's Diciple:
A Message To The Feds
These Are Our Heroes
Bridging The Gap

Hip Hop Is Dead:
Hip Hop Is Dead
Blunt Ashes
Can't Forget About You

*ok ok, lol since you dont go for just mainstream, then it sounds like you should like some of the songs listed. nas has too much in his catalog for someone not to be able to find at least one song they like*

Yea, you're right. He's the rapper of all time.

Here's just a brief list of the classics he's done:

The World is Yours (fav hip hop song)
NY State of Mind
It Ain't Hard to Tell
One Love
Memory Lane
Life's a B**** [with AZ]
pretty much every song on Illmatic
If I ruled the World [Imagine That]
Made You Look
Live @ the BBQ (his debut verse on this Main Source song)
Nas is Like
One Mic
Phone Tap (song he did with his group The Firm)
Rule
Hate Me Now (with Puff Daddy)
Hip Hop is Dead
The Message
I Can
You Owe Me
Just a Moment
Thief's Theme
Street Dreams
Verbal Intercourse (it's a Raekwon song, but he has a sick verse!)
....hope i helped

I will give you a list of my personal favorites:

The entire Illmatic album
The Thief's Theme
Nas is Like
NY State of Mind Pt. 2
Take it In Blood
Black Girl Lost
I Gave you Power
You Gotta Love it
Doo Rags
Made you Look
Life We Chose (One of the realest songs ever!)
2nd Childhood
Sekou Story
What Goes Around

If you listen to his lyrics closely, it's hard not to become addicted to his flow and what he's saying. This man is a lyrical genus!

You could be like me, his classic album Illmatic, never really did much to me(at first, I like it now.) Try listening to Stillmatic, It is more current and is the cd that got me thru high school. My favorite song of his is 2nd childhood, from Stillmatic.

my number one fav from NAS is "shoot 'em up"...he give such a mental description and the bas bumps like nobody's business! =)

i agree with many of the other answers...all of his albums have hits that will go down in hiphop history
