my kids father?

i wanted to ask and get your answers, my kid's father has not seen his daughter in 5mths but I have heard that he takes care of his other daughter. The last time he was around we were not getting along and he wouldn't want to come in my house to see his daughter. in the beginning I always wanted him to come everyday but he wouldn't only about twice in 2 weeks, and I couldn't let him take her because I don't really trust him. but he has a problem with me not letting him take her. and I told him that i had someone leaving with me and that if we wanted to see his daughter I would bring her to him. But if he didn't want to be her dad then he shouldn't come around, he would go weeks to even mths not seeing her or calling for her and doesn't support her financially? Does it sound like i did any thing wrong that he stopped coming to see his daughter and even if I did shouldn't he just come and not care about what goes on between me and him just so he can see my daughter.

stop blaming yourself,this is not your fault,your ex needs to step up to the plate,and be a farther to your daughter,you should not blame your self for being a good mother,this is all on the dead beat dad that doesn't even support his daughter,believe me you have done nothing wrong but love your daughter,good for you,

He can't do that! It would take away his prestige honour of being a dead-beat dad! I mean do you really want to take that away from him? Besides kiddos is what teaches us that no matter what the relationships we make don't just go away. He feels for her, he knows her, but the fact is he is a FATHER!!!!! So don't expect that from him, he was a boy with a cock that got himself into something that was to much for him, and I'm afraid to say so are you by the way your view this. I mean I could go off about how good for nothing he is, but you did pick him didn't you? I could also go off about how much he neglected his kiddo, but you still the one leaving room for him to come back in. I could also explain how childish this guys behavior is, but your the one still hoping he might be a father. So as you can see in the realm of relationship everyone envovled is to blame.....

he isn't ready to be a parent, regardless of the problems going on between the both of you he still needs to be there for his child but he doesn't want to do so, the only thing you can do is pick yourself back up and be the best parent you can to your daughter and not stress over him, apply for child support so you can make sure he will financially provide for his child whether he is in her life or not and it is really his loss if he makes no attempts to be in his child's life, you have done everything to make things easy so he can see his child and he isn't doing anything so the only thing you can do is make sure your daughter is taken care of since he doesn't look like he wants to be in the picture...
