ok, so i like the plain white t's, i have for a long time but ever since they went really mainstream, hey there delilah is the really the only song anybody knows
i just wanted to know what you thought of the song

i dont really like the song, seeing as its only tom playing and singing and it doesnt feature the whole band.

The song isn't that bad but it does get annoying...When I saw them Live I only heard the song once and I managed to sing along but my fav Plain White T's song is Hate(I really don't like you)
they should play that more..
But Plain White T's are going to release another single from their Album "Every Second Counts"..any time now..

It's over-played and starting to get annoying. I loved the song when it first came out on the Plain White T's album, but now whenever I hear it on the radio I switch to a different station. I would like it a lot more if it didn't sell out.

I love Hey There Delilah. Its a great song and the music video is amazing. The Plain White T's are great musicians. I love all their music. Hey There Delilah is my favorite song by them <3

you know, i heard it for the first time abut a year ago, before they went mainstream like you said, becauseim from a little town that hears all this music first, and like we listen to bands before they become mainstream, and then when they do, the magic is just kinda gone. i guess thats how i feel. i personally think its WAY overplayed, and everyone is a bit too excited about it. i dontlike that song at all anymore.

i love the song because it's about a long distance relationship. i'm in one right now and it always reminds me of my guy that's so far away. 4,000 miles to be exact. but he tells me all the time that we will be together soon because i mean that much to him. it's like he's talking to me everytime i hear that song. it's a great song anyway i look at it. very simple and melodic.

i agree with you so much. i love PWT but they do over play there songs [[including Hate (i really dont like you)]] as for the song hey there delilah i like the song but its deff. not my fav of theres :] hope this helps

eh. i like the concept of the song and the lyrics aren't too bad either. however, i think that overall the song just comes across as sappy, which is a huge turnoff to me..
