Lately I have been aloof since my friends moved away to another region. I hardly ever talk with people lately. I also find my feelings quite suppressed and complicated without anybody to share my thoughts with. Any answer? Thanks.

Get out, socialise carefully. Visit your local pub (with a friend if you feel safer). Get to know a few people really well but do not trust them for quite a while.
It may not be the best solution but a limited amount of alcohol does loosen the tongue and allow "spirited" discussions.
If you are TT then try coffee shops, shopping, - in fact anywhere that you feel safely comfortable with others.

It really sucks when your friends move, or you move away from friends. It takes time to cultivate quality friendships, and sharing emotionally shouldn't be TOO quick or you'll come across as needy.

I'd suggest you start by getting a phone plan that allows unlimited calls to your friends. Just because they're far away doesn't mean they still aren't your good friends.

I moved 3000 miles from my friends in '87 and we still call and write regularly. Loving friends are far too rare to let a little thing like distance stop the love.

Maybe you can keep a journal and write your thoughts in it until you can find a good friend again. Friends will aways come and go in your life, so you need to learn how do deal with your life when you are lonely. Work on a hobby or sport you are good at. Get out and be sociable.

It's tough when there's no one around to bare your soul to. Things start building up and it can become quite overwhelming. My advice, start a journal, it's cathartic when your starting to feel like things are piling up. Also, keep youself open to meeting new people, "Make new friends but keep the old, one is silver and the other gold.!" Good luck

The main reason would be a lack of interest. You need to find new friends that have your interests and you'll be communicating again. We are social creatures, so it is important you do this. Good luck.

Get off your high horse and start trying to make friends with some of the local yocals. They're not all that bad.
