doing something for someone else, even if you really don't want to. I don't mean something that would hurt you, but the other things. Rub your wifes feet, or back once in awhile (without expecting anything in return), make your husband lunch when he's getting ready for work, purchasing something special for them when you're out shopping for yourself. And a big one is: dutifully listening and hearing your spouse when they need to talk to you about something, even if that something might hurt your feelings. Hear what they are saying, and try to understand it from their perspective.
