I recently broke the plastic cover of my right indicator/turn light on my Toyota Cressida 1983 (the turn signal light still works) and am finding it hard to find the replacement part, firstly i dont know the name of what to look for (and do i have to replace the whole thing including the light even though it still works?). in this picture link i point out exactly which part i need on my exact model car (toyota cresida 83), i hope someone can help

It is called a lens. If the lens is attached with screws and not sealed you should be able to replace just the lens.

Side marker lens. The turn signal may be there also. You may find it @ autopartswarehouse.com or a large car paint store. Surprisingly some well equipped auto paint stores sell replacement body and replacement front and rear plastic lens units.
In your case the cracked lens is a whole unit. When you remove it you will see that it's a one piece affair. There's an outside chance that you can find this part at NAPA, Car Quest, Advance Auto or Auto Zone.

The part that makes it lower to the ground is called an lower body treatment AKA : ground effects, the side parts are side skirts and the front is an ,air dam. If you buy certain models of car they will come with them and others don't for some of them you can order an aftermarket kit and have it installed.

You are looking for the RH turn signal assembly. If the the turn signal lens is not available, then it's the headlight bezel, which comes with the turn signal & chrome trim ring.

You broke the lens. You can get a used one out of a junkyard.
