I need a place to buy these sticks I am draping a piece of linen on the top for the overhang.

Where could I buy these online or get these without going to the bamboo tree?

Would home depot have these???

Home Depot does not have these.

Just do a google search for bamboo poles. I found these right away...

HD will not, nor might lowes. The more important issue is whether or not the shoots are GREEN.

If aesthetics are an issue I have a suggestion.

Go to a store that sells Fishing gear. Look into "CANE POLES" as long as you can get them. Very often they are stained/varnished etc. and not strictly UGLY, nor do they have line fixtures attached.

Their designed to flex, though you should probably test the curve/radius of the "ARCH" you have in mind. Bind them together, plant them in the ground, support them in some fashion, and do your draping. If you find them offensive, drape around the poles.

If you are planning to start on your woodworking project, this isn't something you should use, it's something that you would be insane not to. Go here https://tr.im/eTBXk
Truth is, I've been a carpenter for almost 36 years, and I haven't found anything like this for less than 10's of thousands of dollars.
