You've got a bit of a thing about spelling, haven't you?

I'd say the bad speller is worse, as the mass murderer only affects a few people, but the bad speller affects everyone. Moreover, his bad habits tend to spread, whereas mass murder isn't catching.

Oh, ho! Bad grammar is much worse! Mass murder, well, that's bad. But a mass murderer is a single person. Bad grammar is an EPIDEMIC that's sweeping the WORLD, which will kill us all in the end! Just think! You start ignoring grammar, punctuation, spelling, internet lingo goes mad, eventually people FORGET what good grammar is, language falls apart, communication lines falter, misunderstanding ensues, strife, conflict, war, and BOOM!!! We're all dead!!!

Both. Bad grammar is annoying and makes you feel stupid, and a mass murderer might take your life.

Excellent way to get your points across with the former, though. I'm impressed.

A mass murderer could be usefully employed in helping to rid society of those people who show little regard for the English language; Whereas illiterates could not be usefully employed.
