For any Crossfire configuration that isn't two 2900XTs, yes it will be fine. However I would recommend this one instead:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153049 it will end up about the same price, but its a little better. Now if you are planning to runn two 2900XTs, you need to step up to this:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817256024 or something even better, because two of those will consume a ton of power, plus you will need a lot of PCI Express connectors since each card takes 1 6 pin and 1 8 pin.

ATI Radeon 4850 ought to have the potential to a recommendations Cry 2 on fairly extreme upto 1280*800... some thing above which you will ought to shrink down the settings.. you ought to flow with Radeon 4870.. very tremendously much $ 30- $ 35 costlier...and a hell lot better of juice.. i'm talking approximately 1600*1200 fairly extreme settings..
