In the last book olivander explains harry that the wand switches its owner only if it is won in a duel by another wizard, but it was written that grimwauld steals the wand from the wandmaker, he didnt win it in a duel so how come he became the owner of the wand and if he didnt become owner of that wand then how come dumbledore became the owner of the wand after duelling with him as he didnt exactly disarm the real owner. But on the other hand Voldy kills the wandmaker who had the wand previously so shouldnt the wand belong to Voldy ?? someone pls explain !!

I think that is why Dumbledore was able to defeat Grimwauld, because he didn't defeat the wandmaker.

The Elder Wand (it is made from the wood elder) was Dumbledore's wand. When they are at the top of the tower at the end of HBP, Draco rushes through the door and disarms Dumbledore with 'Expelliarmus'. The wand flies out of Dumbledore's hand and it immediately becomes Draco's wand, because he has overcome the previous owner, even though Draco nevers picks it up or touches it

Look, Gregorovitch might've had the wand, but that doesn't mean it was his. He might've simply found it somewhere without knowing what it really is, and it's true owner might've never known he was the true owner, and somehow the wand ended up in Gregorovitch's hands. Just like Voldemort, the wand is in his hands, but he's not its true owner, and so the wand doesn't work for him the way it should. I don't really remember how Grindelwald or however you spell his name got the wand, but he was defeated by Dumbledore in a duel, so it became Dumbledore's. Then even though Snape killed Dumbledore, the wand never did become his because Dumbledore's death was planned between him and Snape, or in other words, Dumbledore asked Snape, please kill me, so that wand was never Snape's, even though he killed Dumbledore. Then it says that the wand chose a different person and he became the owner, and that's Draco Malfoy, I don't know how the wand all of a sudden decided to chose a random person to be its owner, but it became Draco's and since Harry disarmed him at Malfoy Manor, the wand became his. What should've happened, though, is that the wand's magic should have died when Dumbledore died. And I don't really understand why that didn't happen.

The "owner" of the wand is not the same person as the "master" of the wand.
The wand recognizes or chooses its master, and if a wizard is defeated, the wand's current owner is "dumped" and the wand recognizes the new wizard as the master. It doesn't matter if the elder wand was used in the duel.
Grimwauld stole the wand, and stunned its current owner, enabling him to take it. Dumbledore won the wand when he defeated Grimwauld. Malfoy became the new master since he was the one who intended to kill Dumbledore (even though Snape did it, it was Malfoy's intent). Harry disarmed Malfoy and defeated him, so the wand recognized Harry as its master, even though the wand was in Dumbledore/Voldemort's possession at the time.

Sorry? Grimwauld? Who is that? If you are referring to GRINDEWAULD, then he STOLE the wand, which is why Dumbledore defeated him with ease.
