My all-time favorite movie has to be Fight Club.
Because in a way it's so beautiful, letting go of all your worries, the pressure society puts on you and the ability to destroy everything and be willing to lose everything just to be free and to be able to reconstruct yourself as you want.

Actually, I have several favorites:Casablanca, because it is somehow just a perfect combination of intrigue and romance. No one has ever surpassed Bergman for ethereal beauty, nor Bogie as a tough but sensitive man's man. Fluke, about a man who dies (he mistakenly thinks he was murdered) and comes back as a golden Retriever. Its about acceptance and spiritual reconciliation, as is another favorite of mine:Dead Man Walking.Susan Sarandon plays a nun who encourages condemned killer Sean Penn to admit his responsibility in a horrific crime. Despite his guilt she values him, and gives him hope of redemption as he is executed. Casablanca and Dead Man Walking won Academy Awards. These films are available at your local library or video store, and are well worth watching.

Star Wars. At the time, it was pure brilliance.
The Bridge on the River Kwai, Blade Runner and Breakfast at Tiffany's are all outstanding as well.

The Stand It's six hours long but it is very good with half the people on Gods side and the other half on the devils side and they fight for control of the world.
