The egg burrows into your fallopian tube and starts to grow so HCG is created and it gets higher. The baby looks the same, I saw a medical video of doctors removing a 7 week old fetus from the tube and it was still inside it's sac with a head, arms, legs, etc... It was sad, but it has to be done for the mother's sake. The baby would die anyways.

My sister just had a etopic pregnancy and it was so sad to go threw this with her. What happen was the baby (egg) got implanted in her tubes and was trying to grow from there, instead of in the uterus.

Ectopic means "out of place." In an ectopic pregnancy, a fertilized egg has implanted outside the uterus. The egg settles in the fallopian tubes more than 95% of the time. This is why ectopic pregnancies are commonly called "tubal pregnancies." The egg can also implant in the ovary, abdomen, or the cervix, so you may see these referred to as cervical or abdominal pregnancies.

None of these areas has as much space or nurturing tissue as a uterus for a pregnancy to develop. As the fetus grows, it will eventually burst the organ that contains it. This can cause severe bleeding and endanger the mother's life. A classical ectopic pregnancy never develops into a live birth.

If you believe you're at risk for an ectopic pregnancy, meet with your doctor to discuss your options before you become pregnant. There's nothing anyone can do to prevent ectopic pregnancy, but you can make sure it's detected early.

You and your doctor may want to plan on checking your hormone levels starting at 10 days or scheduling an ultrasound at 6 weeks to ensure that your pregnancy is developing normally.

If for some reason you think this is the case for you hun, then please call you doctor immediatley. Good luck to you!

a pregnancy test has nothing to do with the egg burrowing anywhere. It actually measures your HCG(pregnancy hormone) levels. If you are pregnant your level will rise no matter where the pregnancy is located. The only way to really know is to have an ultrasound done. If you are pregnant you need to see a doctor who can order one to rule it out. If you do have an etopic pregnancy medical care is needed immediately.

Ectopic pregnancy can be difficult to diagnose because symptoms often mirror those of a normal early pregnancy. These can include missed periods, breast tenderness, nausea, vomiting, or frequent urination.
you would still get a positive test result
Pain is usually the first red flag. You might feel pain in your pelvis, abdomen, or, in extreme cases, even your shoulder or neck (if blood from a ruptured ectopic pregnancy builds up and irritates certain nerves). Most women describe the pain as sharp and stabbing. It may concentrate on one side of the pelvis, and it may come and go or vary in intensity.

Any of the following additional symptoms can suggest an ectopic pregnancy:

vaginal spotting or bleeding
dizziness or fainting (caused by blood loss)
low blood pressure (also caused by blood loss)
lower back pain

You will still register as pregnant if you have an ectopic pregnancy. An ultrasound can confirm where your pregnancy is. If it's outside of the endometrium (even in the uterus) it's considered ectopic. Other common sites are the fallopian tubes, the ovaries and the abdomen. If you have severe cramping with a positive pregnancy test and/or bleeding, contact your OB or ER for an ultrasound.

The pregnancy test actually just depends on whther you are producing HCG hormone. It doesn't matter where the egg is. If you have had your first doctors appointment and they did not say anything about it you should be fine. They usually can tell with the first check up (this comes from my OBGYN). If you haven't then you may or may not feel very sharp severe pains on one side of your abdomen or the other. It also may just be too early.

the comparable element handed off to me. i replaced into 6 weeks as quickly as I have been given an undesirable soreness on my suitable part. Dr. replaced into very worrying it replaced into ectopic. You do get a favorable attempt. they are able to visual show unit your being pregnant by ability of doing a blood attempt to degree HCG ranges on your blood. they'd desire to be doubling or extra in a healthful each 2 days. In an ectopic being pregnant they are able to climb yet no longer double, or perhaps start to cut back. I went into emerg and that they pronounced the soreness would be very insufferable and that i'd comprehend something replaced into incorrect. many women human beings vomit they're in plenty soreness. there is not any longer constantly bleeding in touch. some women human beings will bleed into their abdomen if their tube ruptures and gets a soreness of their shoulder. My soreness became out to be a luteal cyst. an extremely undemanding cyst for the time of being pregnant. i'm now 8 weeks and that i nevertheless have the soreness. Its meant to pass away by ability of itself ultimately. good success!

The doctor scheduled her for a clean up procedure and that night she was doubled over in pain. They rused her to the hospital and they had to do an emergency surgery to remove the egg and developing fetus from her tube.
