The dog and the baby crawl under the table at mealtimes and wait for food to drop. The baby is finally at an age where we can start feeding her table food so we don't feel like such butt heads at dinnertime.

I hope you mean the kitchen or bar stool. Yes my dog is always waiting for food to drop and he jumped up and grabbed a sandwich out of my hand one time. Got to keep your hands high around him.

My dog does that whenever we eat. He can be sleeping in the back of the house and comes running when we are about to have a meal. It's so funny to watch him. He sits there thinking, "Hey. Hey there. You see me down here? Well are ya gonna drop some of that my way or what?"

AAHAHAHA!!! Our dog stalks anyone who goes into the kitchen. He follows my kids around anytime he THINKS I've given them something edible. Even if it is something he doesn't like, he will take it, in the off chance one of the two cats want it. I tell Franky "GO LAY DOWN!" And "STOP BEGGING!" so much that my five year old daughter does it too.

Both of them actually. I'm such a softie they always get something... the St. Bernard eats it without chewing and the beagle buries it in the yard.

I don't have a dog, but the rabbits can't keep their eyes of the peels for the carrots I'm preparing for dinner.

....don't got a dog but I have a tank of Piranha and they are always flashing by & coming up to the top when you are near.

Especially when someone new in the house. They want to hear..."What cute fish they are I think I'll pet one"

My dog is not allowed to beg so he never sits by anyone while they are eating - but every now and then, I will see him looking at my food longingly.

No. He is waiting to go for his walk, and he keeps reminding me. So, bye for now, we are off for a long walk.
