no...i try to balance out the two...well 3..family too...
once you are in a relationship it doesn't mean that you have to forget about everything else around you...
& if God forbid the realtionship ends you still want your friends around for moral support..& not to know that they have left becuz for a moment in time you forgot them when you were so caught up in something better...

I've only done this once & it was with a very good reason. When I started dating my fiance I didn't tell any of my friends about him or us becuz I didn't want to hear anyone else's opinion. I kinda just wanted to follow my instinct & go with what my heart told me. I just wanted this relationship to be mine & his and no one elses.
When I finally did tell them they were understandably upset but as they met him & got to know more about him & us they couldn't help but tell me how perfect he was for me & how great we are together & how happy I look. I think it all worked out in the end so I am very grateful.

Its hard when you are first with someone. You want to spend all your time with them, and it's hard to balance it out. But I try to make sure my friends know I still care about them.

not really, i try to maintain a balance, but my buds by some way the tend to get a bit jealous
