I would love to hear my husband serenade me. I would laugh really hard and so would he.

I hate it, I mean where do you look? How long can you stare adoringly at someone whose tonsils are showing.
And with the songs today what would you serenade her with? Most of the songs are more sex than love.
How romantic is "I like big butts"

For the record, my husband sounds like Elvis, in a good way, and I often tease him to sing Love Me Tender, but he just laughs.

I had that happen once. I was dating an Italian (straight off the boat) guy. It was only about our second or third date. He took me to a steakhouse in Texas and proceeded to serenade me in Italian in full voice. It was sweet and his voice wasn't too bad, but that was neither the time nor the place. I was so embarrassed I wanted to die.

Only if he could sing really well, and looks good singing. Looking at someone sing ugly would make me laugh.

it would be the most romantic thing ever!
doesn't really matter if he could sing or not..
it's the effort he took to express his feelings better to me that counts :)

If it was Johnny Depp I would be thrilled, everyone else can just save their breath.

No, it's embarassing! My husband tries to do it sometimes but he can't sing so it really is a turn-off!
