As long as there are different races there will be discrimination based on races, or at least perceived racism. I have been accused of hiring someone because he/she is/isn't of a specific race....it just so happened he/she was most qualified. People yell discrimination for everything whether it factual or not. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but everything or everyone's actions aren't necessarily discrimination.

Discrimination occurs because we are all different, gender, race, religion or lack thereof, tall, short, ugly, beautiful, thin, fat, American, foreign/foreign national, handicapped/challenged, there are SOOO many reasons to think discrimination is happening.
I'm sure it's difficult for a female black, mormon who is short, fat, ugly and an immigrant who uses a wheel chair to believe she isn't discriminated against.

Racism exist but more in certain states. I also see that reverse racism is becoming more prevelent these days.

I know some will say that as whites we should just allow or accept it because of what someone who may or maynot be related to us did during slavery!

I personally didn't do a damn thing & deserve respect! Just like I give respect!

Is the sun hot? Anyone who thinks that racism and discrimination do NOT still exist is insane or living in a fantasy world. I don't think that is an opinion, either.

No, the coverage isn't a failure. advantageous attempt, Adolf. Racism and discrimination exists everywhere, and constantly will. it won't have the capacity to be legislated away, it may in basic terms be disregarded each and every time it will advance its idiotic head. in specific situations it extremely is even criminal, like Quebec's language regulations and ordinary way of existence. in specific situations it extremely is even criminal as long because it extremely is reversed (in basic terms discriminates against white men), because of the fact no be counted how tight the anti-discrimination regulation is there is often a loop hollow. Racism isn't allowed right here, and it extremely is not any longer tolerated with the aid of civilized human beings, in spite of the shown fact that it nevertheless occurs. it extremely is not any longer a failure of legislations, that's a failure of humanity.

Of course it does. I think the main question would be, do you feed fuel to the fire? And if so, it's part of the problem.
It's so easy to say it exist and do nothing about it, rather than solve the problem and change for a better. Unfortunately, old habits die hard, but I've always been a fan of that saying,
"do to others as you would want them to do unto you." Anything other than that is lying to oneself.
