I am all for supporting our troops and wanting to finish the job, but why can't America just set up bases here and build strongholds here and make it clear to the world that we aren't going to take the battle to your country if you've got a problem with us then bring your *** over here and do something were waiting.

Why do we have to solve all the worlds problems? America spreads its power to thin over the globe and it will fall just like every other great empire of the past. We should keep a strong force at least around our borders and flex our military muscles here at home.

Iraq doesn't have a problem with America. If the US had not gone to iraq then there would be no war in the first place. The US already has strong bases at home but sometimes people need to be saved and you can't overthrow Sadam from a US base.

Why not just pay for them to come over here and bomb our cities? Why not just bomb our cities ourselves and say to the world "Don't bother bringing your *** over here, we aren't waiting we are doing it for you".
The whole point of it is to keep the terrorist out of our country so they can't come over here and attack our civilians. If you just whole up inside the US then they are just going to come over here and bomb our cities.
