Yes, one time in major league history, Twins at Red Sox, 17-July-1990.

Bottom of the fourth: Boggs on 3B, Reed on 2B, Quintana on 1B. Brunansky grounded to third for the GITP, Reed out at 3B, Q out at 2B, Bruno out at 1B.

and then,

Bottom of the eighth: Naehring on 2B, Boggs on 1B, Reed GITP to third, Naehring out at 3B, Boggs out at 2B, Reed out at 1B.

Both triple plays went third baseman to second baseman to first baseman, Gaetti-Newman-Hrbek.

The kicker? Boston still won, 1-0.

Yes and I was there to see it.

I am pretty sure it was in 1992 (my wife was pregnant) and the Twins were playing the Red Sox at Fenway.

Twice in the game, the Sox hit into identical 5-4-3 double plays. Ground ball to Gaetti, stepped on third and went around the horn. It looked like a TV replay the second time it happened but we were watching it live.

I believe that the Sox won the game anyway. It was a bizarre stretch of games for them with improbably wins. I recall another game in which they hit into 7 double plays in a 9 inning game and still won. Just think about that. 7 double plays in 9 innings, lol

EDIT: ICEMAN, was that you who spilled the beer on me? LOL

EDIT2: Yeah, the triple plays could have been in '90. They guy definitely spilled the beer on me in '92, though, so maybe it WAS you!

Yes I went to the Red Sox game a long time ago where it happened. They had tweo triples plays turned against them on GROUND balls.

I think thats the only time it ever happend.

Info-- i think it was 1990 because I remember it was the summer I spent in Cape Cod. I was only 12 so I dont think it was me who spilled the beer on you. I was still atleast 2 years away from drinking lol.
