It's tough to be a Royals fan over the last 15 or so years. I applaud those who have remained loyal. I'm a Mets fan and it was tough for me from 1990-1997, but I kept the faith. Sooner or later the Royals will either get lucky or get sold to someone who is willing to spend more money.

They aren't. Cubs fans are the most loyal. I'm a White Sox fan too. And the Devil Rays have loyal fans. They have never had a winning record. The Royals have won it all a couple of times.

Because Royals are used to staying loyal through good times and bad.

Royal fans are also the most polite fans in the world.

You never see them making fun of another team, or bragging about their team.

Their not. The most loyal fans are those of the Detroit Lions. Though, the Arizona Cardinals are close. (Both sell out every game despite being the suckiest sucks that ever sucked)
The Royals do have loyal fans though, and their loyalty is in the hopes that one day they will have a turn around like the Detroit Tigers did last year. There is always that dream.

Because most of them (no offense intended) are old enough to remember 1985, blown call and all, and that, coupled with the 1980 loss to the Phillies, makes them think that they could theoretically get back again. I sort of agree with the "Midwestern values" comment, being from Omaha, but then again I'm not a Royals fan. I at least appreciate that they don't have that sense of entitlement that Yankee fans have and (sadly) some of us Brave fans have come to have.

I actually feel that the Cubs fans are the most loyal fans in baseball.

I give them all the credit in the world for their support of their team even though they have management that don't care about improving that team at all. It's sad b/c i remembered the battles they used to have with the Yankees in the 80's.

The most loyal. You have to be kidding me. Go to a game sometime and see how loyal they are. The T-Bones have bigger crowds.

Because they've been watching a LOSER for years. The management within the organization really sucks. When they put money into the team and not Gil Meche, they may turn it around. Kauffman Stadium should be honored with a winning franchise.
