It is the hurdle that is slung out on the population to accommodate persons who do not or will not adapt themselves !!
This is at the heart of the complications that most people are faced with by way of law within this country to begin with !! The common denominator of what we all have to deal with comes down to the absolute lowest value added by any faction's input !! We are faced with it every single day as if it is OUR duty to accommodate people who will not make any attempts to change or evolve themselves to live within OUR system !!
And, if we are doing this action to accommodate for Spanish speakers and we want to be totally even handed and nonpartial to ALL peoples -- why then do we not have a phone menu when we call --- that asks --- For French dial 3 -- for Italian dial 4 --- for Russian dial 5 --- for Gallic dial 6 -- for Chinese dial 7 --- for Japanese dial 8 --- for Hebrew dial 9--- ect ect ect ???????? Isn't this system totally desciminating against ALL of the people who speak only THESE languages ?????
You can only go so far out on the limb of accommodation to OTHERS before the complications of that begin to jam up the works of the smoothness of operations of everything !!!!
That's the whole idea of a uniformity of a system to begin with !! And, this social diversification crap is leading us down a path of major bottlenecks in all forms of business, commerce, as well as in personal affairs and interactions !!!

it makes me feel like pressing 1 cause staying on the line takes way to long. i'd push #$%^* if it gave me a live human being.

It's not so much that I have a problem with the actual dialing one for English. It's the whole voice menu thing that I hate. You have to go through ten menus just to get someone to talk to about a problem you have. Let me dial zero and talk to someone already!

it just shows how in today's world you can't speak to an actual human being anymore....you go through a drive thru..speak to a machine...call a line..speak to the machine...send emails...talk to a screen..
& then people wonder why it is so difficult to make friends anymore or why almost half the nation is depressed..

& you forgot it all...press 2 for espanol....3 for more options..blah, blah
