Why should they? Most of them didn't vote for him, they voted for the other guy. It's just that their votes were discounted, removed, eliminated, removed, destroyed, and sometimes not counted. Many others were stopped from going to the polls because of challenges as to who they were, by people who didn't know them.

Nope, the only people who should feel guilty are the Republicans who did all the discounting, removal, eliminating, removing, destroying, etc.

Why should ALL Americans feel guilty for electing GW Bush? The majority of voters picked him over the person who ran against him. They probably felt he was the best choice they had. I know I did.

If any one should feel guilty it should be the Democrats. After all IF the Democrats had come up with someone the majority of voters liked better they wouldn't have chosen Bush.

Who knows how a President is going to turn out when you elect him. Carter looked like a really good guy. But he turned out to be really ineffective.

I love to hear you people whine about "big business". Where do you think JOBS come from. Most of these big businesses pay their employees a descent salary. Yeah let's get rid of business and all live in little shacks like they do in Russia or Cuba. Oh and I would also love to stand in line every month waiting for my rations and hopping they don't run out of bread before I get my turn.

I guess this is like beating a dead horse. Idiots like you are the ones we are ashamed of.

I have a novel idea. Instead of whining about big business, why don't you get off your lazy duff and build your own. Then you can see first hand how hard it is to start and run your OWN business. Then maybe you will appreciate the hard work and long hours that go with running a business. Oh FYI Pres. Bush has done more for SMALL business than any other President. Look it up for your self.

Another question might be do the defenders of Bush share in the blame for the thousands of US soldiers killed for Bush's blood lust against Hussein - all done while Bin Laden sleeps safely in a cave thousands of miles away from Iraq. In way you cut it, Bush has benefited from Bin Laden and Bin Laden has benefited from Bush.

No not at all. Im sad to say that i didnt vote for Bush. But i was young and ignorant about the world. I just listened to what MTV told me to so i was "liberal" Then I was woken up to the truth and I am all for war I am all for Bush and Im ashamed I didnt vote for him. Bush has enough balls to not care what the rest of the country thinks of him becuse he knows he has to protect out country and keep are freedom he doesnt care to be popular and that shouldnt matter. War is necessesary. There were more people killed in one day of the first world war then there has died in iraq. war isnt a bed of roses get over it bush rules!

no...i do not feel guilty about voting for George Bush..not once but twice. Considering the other choice, I chose the lesser of two evils. I gladly admit that I was wrong in my choice, but I do not feel guilty.

Don't forget that half of us didn't vote for the guy. Half of the other half still likes him. That leaves only 25% of the country that could potentially have anything to feel guilty about. So, generally speaking, no. Americans don't feel guilty.

I don't feel the least bit guilty. If he could run again, I'd vote for him again. Especially over the choices we have now. Bush didn't back down from terrorist threats and actions and he still hasn't. We need a man who isn't afraid to use our military for what they are supposed to do. War sucks, but it happens.

Nope, no shame, never will be either. If they could they would vote for Bush again. Those that did vote for Bush care about one thing only. Tax cuts for the wealthy. They could care less about what's good for all Americans. The "shame" is on our nation, we now have almost 3700 dead and over 150,000 wounded. Almost one million civilians have died in Iraq. That shame on our nation falls on Bush and the Republicans in control of Congress for the past 7 years who rubber stamped the invasion of Iraq. BTW, Our Country was not attacked by Iraqis. That is a lie. There is no guilt by any Bush supporter for the over 3600 dead and 150,000 wounded in Iraq, no guilt at all about the more than 250,000 civilians dead in Iraq and no guilt about the invasion of Iraq after Iraq surrendered.
After Desert Storm Iraq had no planes, no tanks and half it's Army had deserted, Iraq was in fact Defenseless..
