Well, not really a contest,it was for a clothes store he needed some men to show clothes (in its magazine), so they picked me and another one, ;)

Yes, When My son used to show livestock at fair (as if I didn't have enough to do) I would enter baking contests. Entered 3 different ones and won a 2nd then a 3rd and on my last try won a1st on homemade pizza. Showed a bunch of other stuff too like craft stuff and jams and jellies and bread. Won a whole bunch of blue ribbons on those. Took a bunch of money home and for a change I actually spent it on myself instead of my son and husband. It was a great time!!!

I won a poetry contest once. Oh yeah, and I've won in a spelling bee, and a hula hoop contest. These were all when I was younger though. I haven't won a contest in years. Maybe because I haven't been in one in years.

Yes once, during my MA studies I won a contest for the best persentation and the prize was 75 pounds
