Like, it's school,........... where they are supposed to be getting an education. I think one of the lessons was spelling....

I'm a bad enough speller without having to work out if something begins with ph or f, k or c, th or d or if the person is trying to be ironic........its school.....maybe we should start a campaign.

Its just another nail in the coffin for standards. My step daughter is 13 she talks another language and lives in a different world but if we try to correct her on anything its the stock answer "well my friends do it" short of nailing her to the floor and force feeding her the reasons why she should spell and talk normally its easier to let her get on with it and learn to become a third class citizen all on her own. its all watered down to make it easier for the kids so they don't have to try as much!.

yes, it is totally annoying and it send s the wrong message to kids who are going back to school. Mis-spelled words and poor grammer are not cute, no matter what advertising agencies think.

It's annoying, but as long as they know that "skool" is not the proper spelling, it's ok. If not, I would be worried. :-)

Yes, annoys the heck out of me. The number of bad spellers on here who might even think they are right because no-one corrects them really gets on my nerves. You've got no character space limitations on email / Y!A, use the full range of the Queens English please!
