No, I am sorry to say but this does not have this affect on cigarette smoke. And for this problem I recommend this Get rid of smoke odor

If you've recently burned a steak -- or if your chain-smoking aunt recently paid you a surprise visit -- remove the lingering smoky odor by placing a shallow bowl about three-quarters full of white or cider vinegar in the room where the scent is strongest. Use several bowls if the smell permeates your entire home. The odor should be gone in less than a day. You can also quickly dispense of the smell of fresh cigarette smoke inside a room by moistening a cloth with vinegar and waving it around a bit.
Good Luck !

My husbands nasty habit! (not IN the shower, but in the bathroom while the shower is running and getting warmed up). The steam really makes the smell and smoke absorb into the walls, curtains and towels.

No, it doesn't , at least not completely. Seems like someone is sneaking off some smokes and is a beginning underage smoker who doesn't want parents to know. That's what your question reminds me of and I would say that I'm probably 90 percent correct. The best way to keep off the smell is not to do it, period. I smoked for 32 years until my heart attack. I wish that I would never have started the awful addictive habit. I am a mere shadow of what I used to be because of smoking. IT's not a fun thing, it's not a cool thing, and cigarettes are very , very addictive. Cigarettes also take a very heavy toll on your life. It may take years to show, it might take years to feel the aftereffects, but one day you will see what I am telling you because you will experience it firsthand.

Mmmmmm, smoking...nummy!!!

Smoking in the shower wont absorb the disgusting properties that will give you COPD, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and asthma, with emphasis on emphysema.

I didnt think I would end up with these diseases...but I did. (and I quit 26 yrs ago)

It will take away the smell a little. Think of when it rains outside - after the rain the air has a lovely clean smell because lots of the crap has been "washed out" by the rainfall.

You'll never know as the shower makes the tobacco difficult to light.

You shouldn't do that for the same reason you shouldn't throw cigar or cigarette butts in the urinal--they get wet soggy and hard to light.
