Am just wandering if my IDL that i processed along with my Philippines driver license will be valid in NZ. Eventually i will change it to the country's driver license within a year since am a residence there.

Am just wandering do i need to start all over again to get a license, like when i was in the US i need to get a student permit and then a california license(ristricted) and when i came to the Philipphines i re-did the same style to get a license. So is it the same or different?

By the way am turning 18 next month! So i know there will be restriction.

Go to Driver licensing information: Required reading for all overseas drivers for NZ
then you will get it straight from the source instead of wrong information given.

In the UK there are 2 issued International driving licenses. It depending which countries you are going to - which determines which one u get.

Why not check with a local driving license authority to find out if your country of origin issues one for worldwide usage or more?

no way they do not accept it.You should get NZ driver licence and pay a lot of money to have driving lessons and they probably will fail you several times beofre you can get it because the more money they can get from you the better for them
