Aria is a beautiful, unique name! stick with it. Brayton is unique, too. You dont need to ask others if these are good names. If you think they are, then just follow your own gut feeling. It is toally your choice.

Aria sounds a lot like Ariel. I really like Brayton though - such a nice, unique, and different name. Love it! Aria is too much like "area" - ya know, find the area of the square? Just something to think about.

I knew an Aria (nickname for Ariadne). I don't have a pleasant association with the name, so I don't like it. But I'm sure that most people don't!

I prefer Braydon to Brayton.

lyIf you pronounce the name with the same speech sound as Maria (A - ria) it should work out sounding correctly. However,
It does look a lot like Ariel (A-real). So the sound would have to be correct and the child will always have a problem with people pronouncing the name wrong. but it that does not bother you, then go ahead.
What IS it with names nowdays anyway. It has to be different or spelled differently than anyone else's. Creepy.
