The plan to buy the properties for pennies on the dollar continues with the Federal court overturning today the lower court ruling about insurance coverage.
Bush league speculators will now go ahead with the plan blurted out by one of their drunken cohorts in an exclusive Hog-Washington D.C. clubs. Look for condos and high-end shopping malls in the formerly poor residential wards.
Bush lemmings should stop trying to be P.C. and just use the words they are thinking when discussing the situation. Then we can feel more justified when we refer to them as slimy pig-doots.

THEY misplaced each and every thing!!! Its in contrast to they are able to get each and every thing back that replaced into misplaced over evening. in case you have been a Katrina sufferer would not you need somewhat extra too, after dropping your place, your automobile, all your belonings besides the garments on your back?

Not sure what promise you are referring to, but people who think of the federal government as a comprehensve insurance program are mistaken. It is not a function of the federal government to compensate people 100% for losses incurred in disasters. That is a function of insurance that any thinking person had.
The federal government should assist with the immediate response, then recover its ability to assist in future immediate responses. The state and local governments and more-so the individuals should be the ones now working to get their acts back together.
Some governments have had programs to take care of massive numbers of people for long periods of time, but these tend to resemble gulags, camps, etc. Don't look to the federal government for long-term adult day-care. It is not compatible with the notion of liberty and the personal responsibility required to maintain it.

when will they get off their lazy as$ and get a job and help themselves instead of asking for more handouts. I'm in New Orleans, the city is just fine. Except for a few crackhouses and projects that have been abandond every thing is ok. You can't even tell anything happened here. Everyone seemes to think a nuke went off down here or something.

Katrina victims should take care of themselves. President Bush's administration has already spent too much time and money on people who don't seem willing to get off of their butts.
