Yes, although I daily bless the person who invented the spell-checker. I keep a dictionary and an Instant Word Guide (no definitions, just a spelling list) to help me. If I get a word wrong and have to look it up often enough that I remember looking it up before, I put a dot beside it in the word list. There are quite a few dots in there! LOL

The problem is, once you get a word wrong a certain way, such as by following the general rule on a word which is an exception to the rule, you will sometimes remember your error better than the correction. And then there are all those words that the spell-checker does not know. Can you believe it? The Answers spell-checker does not even know the word "muggle"!
