I completed my fourth round of Clomid on July 24th and should be ovulating within the next couple of days. Two days ago I started having this pain in my side. It is a sharp pain and in a small specific spot, but not intense. If I had to rank it on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being unbearable pain I would put this at a one or two. I'm concerned that this is my ovary. Its just below my belly button and about five or six inches to the right of my belly button if that makes any sense. It is pretty constant.

Anyone experience this?? I never have before in my life and I know that I've ovulated each prior month I've taken the Clomid so I don't think it could be ovulation pain.

I had this same pain but it's b/c I have cysts on my ovaries so when the egg is being released it's bursting one of the cysts. I would rank my pain about a 9-10 it hurt so bad. I'm hoping it doesn't happen like that again this month. I finish my second round of Clomid on sat.
I would say if it was just a small pain and only lasted a min it was your egg being released and start of ovulation.
Good luck to you. Lots of baby dust**********

Did you take a shot to start ovulation? I had the same problem but, only after I got the shot to bring on ovulation. It made intercourse extremely uncomfortable. My doctor said that she has heard of it happening to one of her other patients. I won't be getting the shot the next time because of that. You need to let your doctor know so they can try some other drugs. Clomid is one of the beginnig fertility drugs. There are many others out there.

It could be a cyst on your ovary that is causing you this pain. Also, if you don't get your period when you are supposed you should definately have it checked just to make sure you don't have an ectopic pregnancy. Sometimes while on clomid there is a higher risk of having an ectopic pregnancy.

that happened to a good friend of mine
and it turned out to be an ovarian tumor
she had to get and ovary removed
but she said it was painless and she is still able to have children
im not sure this is the same thing
but it sounds very much like it
i would be sure to make a doctors appointment as soon as i can
it might just be simple aches and pains everyone gets
but better safe then sorry!
good luck :)

I get a pain like this when i am ovulating and I'm not on clomid. its usually only on one side which would be the side I am ovulating from. take an ovulation test and it might settle your mind. otherwise see your OB/gyn
