Thats a close call but I'd have to say Rod Stewart,he sounds just as good now as 30 years ago,and puts on a great show also.

Having recently seen Rod Stewart in concert, and also being a fan of the Stones, I have to say that Stewart sounds as good in concert as he does on CD...both exude intense energy and put on great shows, but I'll have to give it to Stewart....I like the Stones songs better, but Stewart definitely put on a better all around performance.

Hmm in which era of Rod Stewart ? his days with the Faces { Maggie May great song } or his disco days { do you think i'm sexy } , so my answer would be Rod because he is always changing, if you listen in a store sometime you can hear him doing real soft covers now lol

Heh- you're giving away your age! :)
I'd say Mick. Yeah, Rod changed a lot, but not all of the changes were good ones, IMO. (esp. this newer softy, boring, standards crooner phase of his. Yuck...)
Mick stuck to his rock, prancer guns all these years.

Definately Sir Mick. I saw the man in concert two years ago and all I can say is WOW!!! Such a performer - and still damn sexy for his age! He works the crowd !
