What's the least amount of money you stop to pick up in the street?

I sometimes pick up a 10p if there's not too much pedestrian traffic.

If I had just dropped it then 1p.

If no-one is around then 5p.

If there are lots of people around, then £1 or more.

If no-one is looking, I'll pick up 1p.

1p may not be a lot of money but its a lot when you want a drink (or food) out of a machine, you're a penny short in coins and your only other money is banknotes.

Then again, it could be covered with some flesh eating disease germs.

Any amount 1p I would stop and pick up, because look after the pennies the pounds will look after themself.
